​2007 - First performance of an own composition (Nachtdienst, performed by the Netherlands Wind Ensemble)
2007 - Masterclass Improvisation and Instrumentation with Gerard Ammerlaan
2008 - Young Talent Award for best Composition; Masterclass with Calliope Tsoupaki
2009 - First performance of an own work during a proffessional recital ("Nr.3" with Johan van der Linden)
2010 - Accepted as composition student at the Royal Conservatoire to study with Guus Janssen and Calliope Tsoupaki
2010 - Butch Morris Masterclass in Conduction®
2010 - Bronze Ear Award for best composition "Modern Times"
2011 - First Live Broadcast on Television and Radio of an own composition
2011 - First major Work for Voice ("Monument")
2011 - First major work for Orchestra ("Layers")
2011 - Accepted for Minor Conducting
2014 - Graduated cum laude for Bachelor of Music (Composition), continuing in Master studies
2014 - 'Six Miniatures' installed as calling signals at TivoliVredenburg Concert Hall
2015 - Erasmus Exchange programme at Royal College of Music, composition lessons with Kenneth Hesketh
2015 - All Rise! [Ouverture], premieres by the Residentie Orchestra, conducted by Ed Spanjaard
2016 - World premiere of 'All Rise!' - De Graaff's first opera
2016 - Graduated cum laude [9/10] for Master of Music at The Royal Conservatoire The Hague
2016 - Winner of the Nicolaï Fonds Award for 'Most outstanding final exam'.
2017 - World premiere of 'Rimpelingen' by Hans Woudenberg (cello) and Asko|Schoenberg Ensemble
2018 - World premiere of 'Le café de nuit' by the Residentie Orchestra at the Concertgebouw, conducted by Nicholas Collon
2018 - Winner of the 65th edition of the annual 'Rostrum of Composers', category 'under 30'.
2019 - Performance of 'Le café de nuit' by the BBC Symphony Orchestra
2020 - World premiere of 'Les cymbales sonores' for orchestra and chorus, composed for the 75th anniversary of the Dutch Radio Philharmonic and Choir
2021 - World premiere of Concerto no.5 "The Forest in April" by Maya Fridman and the Noord Nederlands Orkest
